Cooler Sourcing for Honey Heater

The cooler for making the Honey Heater is the Igloo Ice Cube MaxCold 70 Roller. It's the perfect size: no wasted space around buckets and it'll hold a full 5 gallon bucket. Since it may or may not be available in a store near you here's a link to an online source.

The Coleman Company of camping gear fame has long been known for its coolers. They introduced a new cooler line earlier in 2010 that includes two new models that look like they might work for honey heaters. The smaller one is a 50 quart and though I haven't measured the interior yet, it looks like it might work for at least 4 gallon buckets. The cooler is a little shorter and quite a bit wider then the Igloo that's the subject of the honey heater plan, which might be good for heating lots of jars. Naturally, the plans for the heater base would have to be completely redesigned, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem if you start with my plans. Here's
a link to the Coleman cooler .
